The Seven Snares - Frustration

The first of hopefully seven paintings. It's a series I'm calling The Seven Snares (as you might've guessed!)
This series is somewhat inspired by the seven deadly sins, which I've always thought was an interesting theme, but not compelling enough
for me to make a series out of. Rather than depicting sins, the paintings in this series will focus instead on self-destructive things
that I've had more personal experience with. I decided to call them snares because they trip me up, trap me, and hold me back. 
And The Seven Snares was the catchiest title I could come up with  
The first "snare," is frustration, something of a cousin to wrath.   It might not sound as threatening as wrath, but frustration
can be incredibly incapacitating and definitely causes a great amount of inward struggle for me.

5" x 8" Watercolors, acrylics, ink.
This is kind of a big project, so it'll be difficult for me to complete--wish me luck!
